DAY 01-. CUSCO BASE CAMP.

• Our tour begins with the departure from the city of Cusco at 4:00am going to the south for an approximate 01 hour and a half to the district of Cusipata, where we will enjoy our breakfast in a local restaurant.
• After breakfast we continue to the town of Qqehuar -then continue to Santa-Barbara - Phinaya route for approximately 03 hours and 40 minutes to the base camp. Arriving at approximately 1 pm.
• Our base camp is located at 4870 meters above sea level; here we will set up ours tents, After our lunch we will start our walk to go to the Quelcaya Lagoon approximately 04 hours and  half.
• Returning to our camp we will have our dinner and spend the night. The temperature at night averages -7 ° C.
